Illustration Friday: Frozen

My son plays soccer. As parents, Nancy and I have spent a lot of time on the sidelines watching and supporting. Being in Utah, we have watched a few games in the COLD. Last night we lucked out. Our son played in the quarter finials of the State Cup...the game started at five o'clock and the temp outside was perfect...but as soon as the game started the temp started dropping. I bet it dropped 20-30 degrees before the game ended. We headed home before the rain fell....our team lost :-(

Anyway, this is a quick sketch as I thought about freezing on the sideline...nothing worse than watching your team lose sitting on the sidelines when the rain and snow is flyin.

Oh yeah. I have to admit, we've been pretty warm at our soccer games lately.

My daughter's team plays in So. Cal. and we have the opposite problem. Your illustrations show empathy and humor. Good work!
