Illustration Friday: Monster

I did illustration Friday for the first time last week. I had some fun, so I thought I'd get an earlier start this week. Who can pass on a topic like monster. I didn't want to make my monster too scarey, so I put it in underwear and socks...nothing is very scarey in underwear and socks! This is another dirty marker sketch done in painter. I'm liking that dirty marker.

I love that you put him in underpants and socks. Not as threatening that way. Great job!

great job! You could've given him sun glasses and made him like Tom Cruise in Riskey Business. heehee Keep up the great work!

You are right. It also accounts for the proliferation of engravings of Satan in tighty whities and knee-highs in the early Gutenberg bibles.

Fun illustration, thanks.

Absolutely tames this guy down a few levels. LOL! Love the style, and scrolled down to see some other stuff... very impressive, indeed.

I'm glad you put him in underpants - else he wouldn't be so nice! And yes, nearly nothing can be scaring in underpants and socks - lovely idea. Especially I love the underpants.. Great drawing too.
